How To: Healthy & Easy Berry Smoothie Bowl

Hello beautiful people,

Today I decided to go ahead and make myself a “Superfood Smoothie Bowl” for the very first time, which actually turned out pretty tasty! If you haven’t tried it yet, here’s a “how-to” guide for a quick and flavourful Smoothie Bowl, which makes the perfect healthy snack or dessert.

For my Smoothie Bowl I used the ingredients I had at home, but you can totally adjust it to your preferences. There’s endless options when it comes to Smoothie Bowls!

– 1 cup of frozen berries: I used raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants.

-1/2 cup of non-dairy milk: I used oat milk, and you can additionally add yogurt to make the texture creamier.

-Extra fruits of your choice: I used half a banana and a kiwi (no need to be frozen).

-Toppings: I used almonds, dark chocolate chunks, chia seeds, sunflower & pumpkin seeds.

-Optional: Protein powder to add nutritional value or peanut butter

-Add frozen mixed berries (or any other frozen fruits) to a food processor and blend on low.

-Gently, add the non-dairy milk (or yogurt) to the mixture. Make sure you don’t add too much, so the smoothie is thick and creamy.

-Blend the mixture some more on low, until you have a soft serve.

-Next: my favourite part, add any toppings of your choice. I’ve kept it super simple and added chia seeds, almonds, dark chocolate chunks, half a banana, a sliced kiwi, sunflower and pumpkin seeds!

This recipe is so simple and loaded with nutrients, which makes the perfect healthy snack or dessert. It will definitely satisfy your sweet cravings!

Don’t forget to fruit yourself,

Until next time,
