Hello beautiful people,
here is super requested topic on my blog and in real life! How do I stay productive? To me, time management and staying productive are priorities for a stress-free life. I believe being productive teaches you to continuously push yourself. Whether you’re pursuing a passion or want to take up journaling, you can get there by organising your time better. You don’t have to start out being the best, you just have to start.
Today I’d like to share my best tips to help you stay productive, reach your goals and live a stress-free life!
Let’s jump right into my girl-boss productivity hacks:
1-Wake up early.
When you realize waking up early serves a purpose, you’ll have more chances of making it a successful habit. Personally, waking up early and getting s*it done makes me feel very good. When you wake up extra early to work on your side hustle, build your business ideas or exercise, you will feel like you are ahead of the rest of the world. Building habits that make you feel better about yourself will make you more confident and productive.
2-Go to bed early.
It makes sense that if you wake up extra early and your day has been very productive, you’ll feel more tired by the end of the day. This will actually help you create a better sleep cycle, which is so important for your health. One of the reasons why I started waking up early and going to bed early is because by the time I was done with University and my actual job I felt totally drained, mentally and physically. As a consequence, I would skip the gym regularly and had zero motivation to work on my side hustles or hobbies. If you find yourself drained and de-motivated by the time you’re done with your day, this may be a great option for you.
3- Exercise first thing in the morning.
In relation to my previous advice, I always struggled with finding time to exercise, so having extra time in the mornings means I get to make exercise a priority. There are multiple studies that prove that exercising first thing in the morning is excellent for boosting your energy and reducing fatigue. Also, it does support weight loss according to different medical studies. Check out my article where I share with you my health and fitness journey in more detail!!
4- Meal prep
I cannot stress this enough! Meal prepping will change your life. It is perfect for busy individuals. Planning and prepping your meals in advance will allow you to take full control of your food. It will enable you to limit usage of unwanted ingredients such as saturated fats, added sugar and more. When you get home after a long day, you’ll be so happy to find some healthy and nutritious food waiting for you at home. It will save you SO much time from cooking and grocery shopping.

5-Limit your social media usage.
In many occasions I have found myself scrolling through social media more than I wanted or engaging in low-value conversations. If you know me in real life, you probably know I hate wasting my time, so I take this tip very seriously.
I do limit my social media usage, specially the weeks that I am trying to be super productive and get loads of work done. What works best for me is either deleting a particular app from my phone or setting myself a time in the day to use it, which is usually in the evenings. I don’t use any social media or check my messages when I wake up. The only app I use in the mornings is the Bible App, where I usually check the verse of the day or engage in a devotional.
6- Prepare your bag the night before.
I know, I know. This is probably something you have been hearing your entire life. Selecting your clothes at the end of the day will give you a sense of being prepared for the day, which will make you more confident. I promise you that taking a few minutes every night for these simple preparations will make your days more productive and less stressful.
7-Schedule and plan your day ahead.
Prepare your own to-do list a day before and list down all the things you want to accomplish. I personally have two planners: one that I use for academic purposes and another one which I use for personal activities such as appointments, grocery shopping, etc.
This tip is particularly useful if you are a forgetful personal like me. In addition, at the end of the day, a good habit to adopt is to review your day. Did you get all your to-do list done? What didn’t go well? How can you have a better day tomorrow?
That’s it for this post guys! What is your best productivity tip? Let me know if you want me to write a part 2! I hope you enjoyed these cool pictures I have attached! These pics are a sneak peak at a brand new project I’m working on!
Until next time,
