Hello beautiful people!
Happy Sunday! So here is the thing: I have been re-purchasing the same products again and again, to the point that they’ve become my ultimate beauty staples for this season. My skin and hair care routine completely change from summer to fall, so my main focus becomes to moisturise. If you’re like me and need some inspo for this season, this post is for you:
So now that summer is officially over, my main skincare priority is getting rid of any hyper-pigmentation marks left on my face after sun exposure. My skin tends to scar A LOT.
Here are the products I have been loving and are part of my must-have skincare items for this season:
–The Body Shop Drops of Light Face Wash: This entire range aims to help you even up your skin tone and get rid of hyper-pigmentation scars. It is for all skin types and I use it every morning.
–The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate Serum: This serum is infused with plant steam cells, and leaves the skin feeling smooth and gently moisturised. I have definitely seen a difference in the appearance of my acne scars. I use it every night before my Vitamin C moisturiser.
–The Body Shop Charcoal Face Wash: I don’t use this product everyday because it can be a bit drying! However, it does purify my skin and helps unclog pores. I generally use it every two days, when I need a deep cleanse.
–The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser: This product gives my skin a boost of radiance and hydration. In case you didn’t know, Vitamin C clarifies complexion and enhances natural radiance. I use it every night after my serum.
–Cinch Face Cheat Mist: omg obsessed with this face mist! It’s a moisturiser that you can apply during the day, even with a full face of makeup on. Makes my skin glowy and hydrated.
–The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask. Of course I had to include a face mask! This one helps remove impurities, exfoliates & cleanses my pores.
My autumn hair favourites include products that are going to deeply nourish and moistruise my hair, maintaining my curls frezz-free. Here are my faves:
–Maui Moisture Smooth and Revive Vanilla Bean Mask. I randomly purchased this product from Boots and let me tell you: it smells so good I could eat it. It is also super detangling and leaves my hair super soft. I have also used this as a leave-in conditioner right after the shower, which I totally recommend if you have super frizzy hair.
–The Body Shop Shea Butter Hair Mask. Yes, another hair mask. This one is super detangling. It does have Shea butter from Ghana and it is intensely nourishing.
–Maui Moisture Weightless Coconut Milk Oil Spray. A little secret about myself is that as much as I love coconut products, it just does not work for my hair. It does leave my curls feeling very hard and dry, so not a huge fan. However, this mist does nourish my hair and makes it super soft.
–Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair: Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream. My ultimate favourite styling product. This brand always amazes me and my hair absolutely loves it. Perfect to activate your next day curls.
–Sesame oil: This type of oil soothes dry and frizzy hair and prevents dandruff. I’ve been using it every single day to style my hair, particularly when I put my hair in an ponytail or low bun.
Here’s the makeup I’ve been obsessed with this season:
–Tarte “Flirt” Tartalette Palette: Such a perfect size to carry around! Obsessed with this well pigmented palette, perfect to create everyday or evening looks. I don’t really wear eyeshadow in my everyday life, however these earthy shades give the perfect soft glam makeup look.
–Estée Lauder Compact Face Powder. This compact powder gives me the perfect matte look without over drying my skin. It comes with a mirror so it’s perfect to carry in your bag. I swear this product makes my makeup last forever!
–Brown and dark matte lipsticks. I do believe that these shades of lipstick really compliment darker skin tones, that’s why I’m literally obsessed. Here are my current favourite shades:
–MUA Blushed Matte Powder Rose Tea: My new Autumn blush obsession. Alright, so I’m not the “contouring and bronzing” kinda girl, I’d rather use a nice blush and highlight to the Gods. It’s my first time trying this blush, and I must say it compliments my skin perfectly. It does last very long and the price is literally so affordable!!!
That’s it for this post guys!!! What is your essential for this season?
Thank you so much for reading, until next time!
